Project 2: Auditory Imaging
INTRODUCTION
Project 2
For this task, we need to choose one of 6 situations and create a story about it. The story needs to be detailed, as this will help create the sound. If we don't like any of these 6 options, we can propose our own.
The six scenarios given are:
1. Wildlife + background
2. Daily family life + background
3. City + traffic + external atmosphere
4. Industrial and electronic sound + background
5. Weather and background
6. Market + rural atmosphere + background

Storyline
My idea is the quiet atmosphere of the protagonist studying in the library. After writing the story, I marked the foreground sounds in yellow and the background sounds in blue.
After writing the story, I started looking for audio that fit my requirements on the website and downloaded it for editing.

Depending on the order and plot of the script, I put the audio into different tracks, arranged and adjusted the length of the audio, and cut multiple pieces as needed.

I copied and cut several pieces of audio on the same track to make sure the sound fits the ambient atmosphere, and fading in and out is also important in this step to make the audio more natural.

REFLECTION
Experiences
In this course, I learned different ways of adjusting sounds and provided a unique level of hearing for visual material. At the same time, I apply the method of transforming audio and video learned in class to this assignment.
Observations
I learned that audio is not only a tool for enriching the content, but sometimes it helps the audience understand the content better. Many details in sound effects are very important and can have a very important effect on the audience's viewing and senses.
Findings
I found that sound design can affect the audience's feelings. It not only reflects the content of the picture, but also reflects the inner activities of the characters, and can also hint at the development of the plot to a certain extent. Sound can supplement the details that the picture cannot show, so that the audience can imagine the picture more vividly. In the future study of production, I will use these skills to make.
