FINAL PROJECT
Objective:
You are tasked with creating a dynamic and visually compelling 5 to 10-second physical action sequence animation using provided character rigs. The goal is to demonstrate your understanding of physical movement, timing, extreme and breakdown poses, and visual storytelling through effective camera staging, exaggeration, and polished animation techniques.
I used this video as a reference material.
After slowing down the speed and carefully observing the movements in the video, the key action was identified.

Experience
In this project, I chose the character "Snow" and attempted to create a simple martial arts action animation. At the beginning of the production, I watched multiple martial arts performance videos to extract the core movements and rhythm. Then, I gradually constructed the transitions and layers between the actions. Subsequently, I continuously adjusted the motion curves during the animation process and repeatedly optimized the tension and rhythm of each action. Although I encountered many challenges in achieving the natural and smoothness of the movements, especially in the transitions between consecutive moves, as each frame was refined, I gradually found my rhythm and finally completed an animation segment that I was very satisfied with.
Observations
During the production process, I deeply realized the significance of the "blocking" stage. Additionally, I also noticed that the use of camera language plays a very crucial role in the animation presentation: close-up shots can highlight the power and emotions of the action, while long shots are more suitable for presenting the completeness and spatial sense of the action. The rhythm, sense of direction, and force of the initial movements determine the overall direction of the animation. The combination of the two can enhance the overall viewing experience. If these elements are not handled properly, it will be very difficult to make up for it even after making modifications later. Findings
Through this practice, I realized that targeted reference materials can significantly enhance work efficiency.Through this practice, I realized that targeted reference materials can significantly enhance work efficiency. Martial arts videos not only provide examples of action structures, but also help me understand the relationship between rhythm and breathing. Moreover, even seemingly minor body movements, such as a slight head turn or a slight tilt of the torso, can make the characters more lifelike.

In terms of shot design, I also gained new insights: Through the switching and movement of shots, animations can be given more narrative and cinematic qualities, making the visuals not just technical presentations, but visual narratives with emotional expression.
