26/09/2024 - //2024 (Week 01 – Week 04) You Siyuan / 0366978 Sonic Design / Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media / Taylors University Project 1: Audio Fundamentals INTRODUCTION LECTURES EXERCISES FEEDBACKS INTRODUCTION LECTURES Week 1: Module briefing/Introduction We created a blog to document the exercise process and watched a video posted by Mr. Razif on MyTimes, which gave us some insight into the project. Week 2:S ound Fundamentals Wavelength: The distance between any point on the wave and the equivalent point on the next phase. Literally, the length of the wave. Amplitude: The intensity or power of a wave signal. The "height" of a wave, when viewed as a figure. Higher amplitudes are interpreted as higher volumes, hence the name "amplifiers", devices used to increase amplitudes. Frequency: The number of times a wavelength occurs in a second. Measured in kilohertz (Khz) or cycles per second. The faster the source vibrates, the higher the sound  Frequenc...

Fig1.1 ,Week 1(30/9/2024) Mr. Kamal's blackboard writing in class Week2 Frame Rate Timing & Spacing Slow in and Slow Out Timing Chart Arcs Frame rate (expressed in frames per second or FPS) is the frequency (rate) at which a continuous image (frame) is captured or displayed. Time and interval: The number of drawings used in any move determines how long the action takes on the screen. For film directors, timing is of the essence. For animators, that's only half the battle. Animators also need spacing. We can have a natural sense of time, but we have to learn the spacing of things.   29/11/2024 - 28/12/2024 (Week 11 – Week 15) You Siyuan / 0366978 Animation Fundamentals / Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media / Taylors University Final Project INTRODUCTION FINAL PROJECT Use your character from your previous project 1, animate a 5 to 10 second physical action sequence. Choose an action sequence that involves physical movement, such as a fight, chase, or sports-related activity. Develop a clear understanding of the desired outcome, key actions, and the emotions you want to convey in the scene. Create a storyboard that visualises the key moments, actions and emotion of the scene. Incorporate variety of camera shots, angles and visual continuity to enhance the visual storytelling. Create a project in Adobe Animate. Set the setting as 24fps, 16:9 aspect ratio with 1280 x 720 (HD720p) resolution. Perform all the processes that you have learnt in the previous lesson to produce the final animation such as animate the animation from rough, tie down, clea...
