Stop Motion


Week 10 - Stop Motion Trial Shooting

During this week, we will conduct a stop-motion tracking shoot as preparation for our final project, i.e. a group of stop-motion videos created by individuals or individuals.

​In this exercise, first we need to focus on this Google group spreadsheet: the final project shot. Next, the team leader will organize the shoot and ask all members to prepare the materials for the supporting tea, the leader, the tripod, the installation of the stop-motion animation application, etc. Please follow the list provided by Mr. Martin.

In week 10, we had a stop-motion test shoot at E1.01 (Photo studio). Each scene will be shot twice, once with a DSLR camera and once with a smartphone (downloaded with the stop-motion animation app).

My partner and I discussed the topic and prepared the materials needed to make the video. And then we split up one person to shoot and one person to edit. I was in charge of editing.

The tutor gave feedback on the group activities this week.





Reflection
The group had a great time shooting an animation and had a great experience learning to shoot for the first time. I didn't know much about stop-motion animation before I took this course. During the study and group cooperation in this semester, I found stop-motion animation very interesting, and I really enjoyed shooting with the team members. If there are more opportunities, I will also be happy to participate in the group shooting process.
